OverDose offers the complete pre-workout formula. Designed to amplify training focus, power and intensity. Kre-Alkalyn, Arginine AKG and Beta-Alanine combine to produce rock hard gains and serious focus that'll bring your workouts to the next level. Incorporating tried and true potent ingredients while optimizing the bloodstream delivery is the backbone of OverDose.
Packed with Maltodextrin and Dextrose Overdose gorges your muscle bellies to aid in producing those insane pumps that everyone is looking for in the gym. A big oversight in many pre-workout supplements is the lack of a good carbohydrate source, with so much positive research pointing toward upping your carbohydrate intake before and during your workouts it's a wonder why more pre-workout supplements aren't incorporating this into their formulas. Well, we can't speak for them but NRG-X Labs did it right the first time!
Boosting Nitric Oxide levels and blood flow to your muscles can take workout "pumps" further than ever before. Loaded with the correct balance of glycogenic carbohydrates and insulin nutrient transporters, OverDose is the answer to muscle growth and repair.
What are people saying about Overdose... we have taken a few quotes from detailed full bottle logs and workout journals, check it out!
"2 scoops as usual. Hell of a pump today! Had some new veins popping out of my front delt as well. Focus was unbelievable today. One thing I have really noticed about Overdose is that the energy is slow, yet controlled throughout the entire workout. No jitters, tingly feelings, etc." - Mike
" I started to feel the stims kick in around 20-25 min after sipping, i was more alert and focused while driving to the gym, and when I was at the gym I felt like a robot, only focused on the lifts. The energy was very smooth crisp energy and no crash to report of yet. Strength was definitely up as well, some things felt easier than ever before, especially chest. Now here comes the best part... pump. I had the best pump out of any NO product I have ever used before." - Psychonewb
"I give OD a 10/10 on everything I'm not crazy about blue rasberry but I could care less what flavor my pre workout is I just want results and if that's what you're after then u can bet your money on any NRGXLABS product they have great products and a great staff I liked everyone that ran these logs and bigrigatoni, phil, and JBS know how to create a team environment and I think a lot of companies could learn a lot from seeing how these guys handle business -thanks guys it's been a lot of fun!" - tatteredsaint
"After just the first set of Bench i felt my chest pumped up lol. My arms during the super set felt so jacked I wasn't able to even touch my shoulders after the first set. I really hope this effect will continue. I can only imagine what this product is like stacked w/ Maxx Pump and Beta Maxx." - Psychonewb
"Energy This was fantastic. I had a nice rush of energy that lasted me through out the whole workout. There were no jitters or rapid heart beats. It was all just pure energy and great mental focus. 10 out of 10" - tastan
What makes Overdose so special... well, like most things in life it's what's on the inside that counts! So, lets take a look under the hood!
The Overdose Carb Blend:
• Maltodextrin - Maltodextrin is a short chained starch
sugar, gelatin hybrid base, (dextrin), that is used as a food additive. It is
produced also by enzymatic hydrolysis from gelatinated starch and is usually
found as a creamy-white hygroscopic spraydried powder. Maltodextrin is easily
digestible, being absorbed as rapidly as glucose, and might either be moderately
sweet or might have hardly any flavor at all. Maltodextin are mostly classified
with a DE (dextrose equivalent) of 20 or higher.
• Dextrose - Two stereoisomers of the aldohexose sugars
are known as glucose, only one of which (D-glucose) is biologically active.
This form (D-glucose) is often referred to as dextrose monohydrate, or, especially
in the food industry, simply dextrose.
Glucose is a ubiquitous fuel in biology. It is used as an energy
source in most organisms, from bacteria to humans. Use of glucose may be by
either aerobic respiration, anaerobic respiration, or fermentation. Carbohydrates
are the human body's key source of energy, through aerobic respiration, providing
approximately 3.75 kilocalories (16 kilojoules) of food energy per gram.[6]
Breakdown of carbohydrates (e.g. starch) yields mono- and disaccharides, most
of which is glucose. Through glycolysis and later in the reactions of the citric
acid cycle (TCAC), glucose is oxidized to eventually form CO2 and water, yielding
energy sources, mostly in the form of ATP. The insulin reaction, and other mechanisms,
regulate the concentration of glucose in the blood. A high fasting blood sugar
level is an indication of prediabetic and diabetic conditions.
The OverDose NOX-K Complex
• Arginine alpha-ketoglutarate (AAKG) - Arginine and
alpha-ketoglutarate are precursors of nitric oxide and polyamines, respectively
-metabolites which participate in a number of metabolic functions. AKG supplements
have been shown to promote growth hormone and insulin secretion with anabolic
effects in postoperative patients.
In one study, the anti-catabolic effects of AAKG were investigated in 14 multiple
trauma patients who were highly catabolic and hyper-metabolic. One group of
subjects received 20 grams of AAKG per day and showed a significant increase
in protein turnover as well as an increase in blood levels of insulin, growth
hormone, and free amino acids (glutamine, proline and Arginine) compared to
subjects not receiving AAKG supplements.
The immunomodulatory properties found with AKG suggest that it may enhance host-defense
mechanisms, particularly during injury and acute stress.
• Patented pH-Specific Kre-Alkalyn - Packed with patented
Kre-Alkalyn, OverDose delivers optimal cellular recovery and strength, while
eliminating creatine bloat to reveal a hard, dense and muscular physique. Kre-Alkalyn
is as potent as plain creatine monohydrate, but because of it's patented buffered
creatine formula, it delivers creatine benefits without creatine side-effects!
Regular creatine monohydrate turns into to creatinine quickly after ingestion,
a toxic compound that can lead to dehydration, stomach irritation, gastrointestinal
distress, and kidney stress. Kre-Alkalyn's patented formula eliminates creatine
side-effects by preventing the breakdown of creatine monohydrate. The answer
is Kre-Alkalyn!
The OverDose Charge Complex
• Beta-Alanine- Benefits of Beta-Alanine as supported
by scientific studies:
- Increase Muscular Strength & Power Output.
- Increases Muscle Mass
- Increase Anaerobic Endurance
- Increases Aerobic Endurance
- Delay Muscular Fatigue- Train Harder & Longer
• L-Tyrosine - Tyrosine (abbreviated as Tyr or Y) or
4-hydroxyphenylalanine, is one of the 20 amino acids that are used by cells
to synthesize proteins.
• Glucuronolactone- Glucuronolactone is a naturally occurring
chemical produced by the metabolism of glucose in the human liver. It is an
important structural component of nearly all connective tissues.
• Siberian Rhodiola Rosea - Now described as the Herbal
Super Star of the 21st century, this medicinal plant, classified as an "Adaptogen,"
didn't find its way to the United States until 1998. Dr. Zakir Ramazanov (Dr.
Zakir), a Senior Russian Scientist & Professor of Plant Biochemistry had
experienced the roots unique benefits himself while stationed in Afghanistan
during his tour of service in the Soviet Army. However, the most amazing benefits
were not uncovered until he returned home experiencing Post Traumatic Stress.
He began using Rhodiola rosea once again and his stress vanished.
• Caffeine USP - Caffeine is a central nervous system
and metabolic stimulant,[40] and is used both recreationally and medically to
reduce physical fatigue and restore mental alertness when unusual weakness or
drowsiness occurs.
• Naringin - Naringin is the major flavonoid glycoside
in grapefruit and gives grapefruit juice its bitter taste. Naringin exerts a
variety of pharmacological effects such as antioxidant activity, blood lipid
lowering, anticancer activity, and inhibition of selected drug-metabolizing
cytochrome P450 enzymes, including CYP3A4 and CYP1A2, which may result in drug-drug
interactions in vivo.
• Acetyl L-Tyrosine - Acetyl-L-tyrosine, which is converted
in the body to L-tyrosine, is 20 times as soluble in water as L-tyrosine itself.
For this reason, it serves as an efficient supplement for raising tyrosine levels
in the body, since undissolved substances are not absorbed from the digestive
tract. Stressful conditions often raise blood pressure. Such rises have been
experimentally suppressed by L-tyrosine supplementation.
• Gingko Biloba 24/6 - The primary therapeutic property
of ginkgo is to increase the flow of blood into areas previously deprived of
this life-giving substance to one degree or another, including the brain, the
lower limbs, all arteries, veins, even the smallest capillaries. Decreased blood
flow to the brain can adversely affect memory, concentration, intellectual ability,
vision, equilibrium and balance. It may also lead to symptoms such as headaches,
depression, mental confusion. Stroke can occur because of lack of blood flow
and oxygen to brain tissue. Ginkgo is used to prevent and even treat all of
these conditions.
• Vinpocetine, Vincamine and Vinburnine are all reported
to have cerebral blood-flow enhancing and neuroprotective effects, and is used
as a drug in Eastern Europe for the treatment of cerebrovascular disorders and
age-related memory impairment.
• Idebenone - Idebenone is claimed to have properties
similar to CoQ10 in its antioxidant properties.[specify] Idebenone is a synthetic
analogue of coenzyme Q10 used in Europe in the treatment of vascular and degenerative
diseases of the central nervous system.
• 4-hydroxyisoleucine - 4-hydroxyisoleucine may amplify
carbohydrate-induced insulin secretion. Therefore, supplements containing 4-hydroxyisoleucine
allows athletes to load up on nutrient stores at a cellular level. This may
include mass building compounds such as creatine, carbohydrates and protein.
What's more, 4-hydroxyisoleucine may also increase the receptivity of muscle
cells to insulin, thus increasing nutrient storage in muscles while deterring
storage to fat cells.
