There is more calcium in 1 serving of Cal-Quick than in 1 quart of milk. Liquid calcium is absorbed faster than hard calcium tablets. Cal-Quick goes to work quickly in the stomach. Calcium tablets, on the other hand, need binders to hold them together. Naturally, these binders resist dissolving. So it is possible for a calcium tablet to pass through the digestive tract without being completely absorbed. Cal-Quick, however, is specially designed for rapid assimilation and maximum absorption of calcium and vitamin D.
Calcium is essential for the formation of strong and healthy bones. Vitamin D improves calcium absorption.
