We prepare our Bloodroot extract from the rhizome of Sanguinaria canadensis plants which are Certified Organically Grown especially for us in their native forest habitat in eastern Kentucky.

To assure optimal extraction of Bloodroot's bioactive compounds, the rhizome is hand-harvested in late summer or early autumn, is carefully shade-dried, and is then thoroughly extracted.

Our Bloodroot is never fumigated or irradiated.
